Jewish history or Judaism begins with the covenant between God and Abraham about 3,800  years ago.

The Torah, the primary document of Judaism, was given to the Jews by the Prophet Moses about 3,300 years ago.

The Jewish calendar starts with  the day Adam and Eve were created by God (the 6th day of Creation.)
